A three-legged cat, missing a portion of its tail, persevered relentlessly and has now found a caring and permanent home.

Introducing the charming cat named Bubby, a resilient three-legged feline who never surrendered, despite also being without a portion of his tail.

Bubby, initially a stray cat, found salvation when Boyd Abbott, a compassionate individual, rescued him. The cat was in a dire state—sick and dehydrated, requiring urgent assistance.

“Bubby was dehydrated and battered. His condition was so critical that another storm would likely have been fatal. Remarkably, he started purring on the vet’s exam table,” revealed Sarah MacLeod, a volunteer with Exploits Valley SPCA Adoptables, to Love Meow.

“I had already made up my mind to keep Bubby permanently even before bringing him home. While we hadn’t initially planned on getting a cat, I had to persuade my boyfriend,” Sarah shared with Love Meow.

“Now Bubby realizes that he has found his forever home. Despite the lingering sorrow in his human-like eyes, he is once again cherished. He starts purring the moment he wakes up in the morning and continues until he falls asleep each night. Not once has he expressed a desire to go outside. It seems he understands that he is finally home, and this time, it’s for good,” the woman expressed.

Wonderful news for Bubby— the cat is now truly content and happy in his newfound home.
